USA (bbabo.net), - The US National Weather Service expects heavy snowfalls and tornadoes in the country in the near future.

“A dangerous storm will bring a wave of snowfalls, sleet and freezing rain to the Central Plains (Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas - approx. TASS) and the Upper Midwest (Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, North Dakota and South Dakota) . Severe storms and tornadoes, strong and destructive winds are possible along the [Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas] area and the Mid-South. Heavy snowfall will continue in the Four Corners (Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah),” the service said in a tweet posted on Monday.

In the last weeks of December, a large part of the United States was hit by bad weather in the form of a cold snap, strong gusts of wind and snowfalls. Temperatures have plunged to near-record lows in many states. Severe weather warnings have affected an estimated 175 million Americans in the central and eastern parts of the country.
