Ulyanov spoke about the state of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear deal

Caucasus (bbabo.net), - Russia's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov said that the completion of nuclear deal negotiations (JCPOA) is a factor that will reduce tensions in the region. This was reported today, January 16, by the Iranian news agency IRNA.

Ulyanov said the best way to prevent tensions in the region is to complete nuclear talks with Iran.

He added that progress in the nuclear talks and the revival of the JCPOA could reduce tensions in the region and open the way for further dialogue aimed at strengthening regional security:

“But Western countries, apparently, are not ready for this.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran continues to stress that if the Americans act prudently, a final agreement can be reached during the negotiations in Vienna.

Iran asks for reliable guarantees in case the Americans once again unilaterally violate their obligations under the JCPOA.

The bbabo.net agency recalls that it was the United States under Donald Trump that unilaterally withdrew from the nuclear deal, which caused discontent among both Tehran and other countries participating in the JCPOA, including Washington’s European allies.
