Lavrov will go to the meeting of G20 foreign ministers in New Delhi in early March

Asia (bbabo.net), - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will take part in the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in New Delhi on March 1-2. This was announced today, January 30, to journalists by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko.

“Our foreign minister will take part in a meeting of the heads of foreign affairs agencies of the G20 countries on March 1-2 in New Delhi,” Rudenko said, quoting TASS.

India is chairing the G20 this year. As part of the unification events, New Delhi intends to hold over 200 meetings in 55 different locations across the country to showcase its cultural heritage. Their culmination will be the annual G20 summit, scheduled for September 9-10 in the Indian capital.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has previously said that his country's G20 presidency will be "inclusive, ambitious, determined and action-oriented."
