Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The Ministry of Justice of Switzerland declared illegal the possibility of confiscation of Russian private assets held in Swiss banks and their direction for the restoration of Ukraine. This is stated in a communiqué published on February 15 on the website of the Federal Council (government) of Switzerland.

“A working group led by the Ministry of Justice concluded that the confiscation of Russian private assets is contrary to the federal constitution and the existing legal order,” the document emphasizes.

At the same time, the agency notes that regardless of the discussions on this topic, Switzerland will continue to support Ukraine.

Note that the leaders of the European Union are discussing the option of using the frozen Russian assets in the interests of Kyiv.
