Speaking at the end of the meeting, he asked the citizens affected by the earthquake to be patient for 1 year, during which time the government will build new, safe housing.

He once again recalled support measures - 15,000 liras will be paid to those who have lost their homes, the government will compensate from 2 to 5 thousand liras for housing rent, and will pay a one-time allowance of 10,000 liras to each family.

In addition, the government will pay 100,000 lira to those who have lost relatives as a result of the natural disaster.
