Putin may announce 'quick fixes' on February 21 - political scientist

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - During his annual speech before the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin may propose some quick solutions that need to be quickly approved. This was stated to Pravda.Ru by political scientist Dmitry Solonnikov, commenting on the news about an unscheduled meeting of the State Duma and the Federation Council on February 22.

The expert did not rule out that the Russian leader would take the initiative to consider bills related to personnel appointments or a special operation.

“Remember, once the message ended with the resignation of the government and large personnel changes. Maybe something similar will happen this time. I think the meeting is being prepared just in case. There is a possibility that the president will propose to solve something promptly and quickly,” Solonnikov said.

He stressed that earlier observers had hoped for Putin's loud statement on the special operation during his visit to St. Petersburg or Stalingrad. However, the forecasts did not come true, so "we are waiting for the third time."

“With a certain degree of probability, the result will be the same as in the first two,” the expert concluded.

As bbabo.net reported, an unscheduled meeting of the State Duma and the Federation Council will be held on February 22. The lower house of the Federal Assembly will meet in the morning, and the Federation Council at 15:00 Moscow time.
