USA (bbabo.net), - The aspirations of the Afghan people must be satisfied, no one will ever again occupy Afghanistan. This was announced today, February 15, by Muhammad Yaqub Mujahid, Minister of Defense of the "Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan" (IEA, self-named by the Taliban *) at a ceremony dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the country.
“We must not be arrogant. We should always think about the legitimate demands of people and try to gather them around us. For development, we must unite with the people,” Mujahid said.
According to him, the "Islamic Emirate" is looking for a system of government that would reflect the interests of all the inhabitants of the country. Other "Islamic Emirate" officials noted that independence is the conquest of the Afghan people, so political leaders should not lose it through their negligence.
“Our freedom has been lost due to frivolity and lack of agreement between leaders and rulers,” Mines and Petroleum Minister Shahabuddeen Delaware said.
Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani, Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, said: “At one time, the opposition teamed up with world powers to gain power. What is needed now is unity and the interests of all Afghans must be respected in order to preserve the existing independence and sovereignty of Afghanistan.”
Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaki stressed:
“We want a positive relationship with the world. We want economic and political relations. Neighboring countries expressed concern about the presence of thousands of IS* members. We declare that IS* has no place in Afghanistan. Any member of the IG* who shows up will be eliminated. No threat should come from Afghanistan.”
During the ceremony, officials also stressed that the re-occupation of Afghanistan is impossible and those who seek to divide Afghan society will fail.
