China highly appreciates Foreign Minister Lavrov's positive comments on Sino-Russian relations, he said.

"Sino-Russian relations continue to develop steadily and soundly, political mutual trust between the two countries is deepening, and cooperation in various fields is developing steadily," Wang said.

He described the strategic coordination between Moscow and Beijing as "close and effective".
