Ukraine (bbabo.net), - China and its proposals for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine must be treated with caution. This was stated by the newly elected President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel.
“Beijing could learn from the current situation if conflict erupted between China and the West. China is not interested in defeating Russia because Russia is its natural ally,” he said in an interview with CNN.
Pavel also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin's interpretation of the circumstances leading to the current situation in Ukraine is "out of touch with reality." At the same time, he stressed that Russia's ability to learn from its mistakes should not be underestimated.
Recall that Prague condemns Moscow's actions in Ukraine and strongly supports Kyiv. The Czech Republic has already supplied the Kyiv regime with a lot of ammunition and military equipment. In addition, the Czech authorities are in favor of increasing sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation and consider it necessary to prepare for a war in Europe.
