Asia (bbabo.net) - Talks began in Moscow between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the head of the office of the Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for Foreign Affairs, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Wang Yi, reports today, February 22, TASS.
Earlier, the press secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, noted that Putin and Wang Yi have something to talk about, since Russian-Chinese relations are very multifaceted, allied in nature, and the agenda is clear and extensive.
In turn, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee during his visit will discuss with the Russian side current international and regional issues. They added that Beijing intends to use this visit to ensure the stable development of bilateral relations in the direction set by the leaders of the countries.
Wang Yi arrived in Moscow on Tuesday. On the same day, he held talks with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, and earlier on Wednesday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
