Belarus (bbabo.net), - The necessary solutions have been found for most of the most difficult issues of Western sanctions pressure. This was announced today, on February 22, by the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, speaking at the collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.
“2022 has turned out to be a much more difficult year than we could have predicted as we spoke in this room a year ago. The coordinated sanctions pressure from the West has become even greater, we were forced to rebuild the transport and logistics chains developed over the years, redirect exports to friendly countries, and resolve issues with settlements and import substitution. I will not say that these issues have been completely resolved. Everything is in process. But for most of the most difficult topics, the necessary solutions have been found,” he said.
According to him, in these difficult conditions on the outer contour, the diplomatic service carried out a significant amount of work in the political, consular, humanitarian and information areas.
Recall that Belarus has been under severe sanctions pressure since the end of 2020. After the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, Western countries introduced several more packages of sanctions not only against Russia, but also against Belarus. In the near future, new restrictions from the EU are expected.
