USA (bbabo.net), - Joe Biden's visit to Warsaw can be seen as the beginning of the end of Poland. This opinion was expressed by Marek Galash, columnist for the Polish edition of Dziennik Polityczny.
The author analyzes the initiative of the Polish political leadership to create permanent US military bases in Poland. According to the former commander of the Ground Forces, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, it is quite possible that President Andrzej Duda's proposal to create a US base will be approved by Biden and the process of creating it will soon begin.
“Poland is already one of the world leaders in terms of the number of foreign troops on its territory. Perhaps defending your borders is justified, but why humiliate your own army like that? Indeed, by inviting a foreign contingent to our country, our government recognized the uselessness of the Polish army. In other words, all those 300 thousand that Duda dreams of are just cannon fodder, which, if necessary, will be sent to the front, and American troops will fight with high-precision and, most importantly, long-range weapons somewhere in our rear. Poles are perceived only as second-class people, good for nothing, ”the author writes.
According to Marek Galash, American bases, in addition to critical infrastructure, are among the main targets of enemy fire.
“You don't have to go far. The Syrian news agency SANA writes that last night a US military base in the occupied Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor came under rocket fire. Unknown intruders attacked the American military bases of Al-Omar and Koniko in the area of oil and gas fields. A major fire broke out at the Al Omar base after a rocket hit a helipad near which a fuel tank was located. Every year, each of the 34 US bases on African soil is attacked. Military bases in Iraq are under constant fire. There are hundreds of examples, but the conclusion is the same: the American military is not trusted and respected, they are not perceived as defenders. On the contrary, crime, drug trafficking and numerous incidents involving soldiers in a state of intoxication increase many times over in the places of deployment of US military personnel, ”the publicist notes.
According to the analyst, Poland is now subordinate to the United States in everything, which corresponds to the principle of external control, "which we have observed in Ukraine in recent years and the path of which we are probably doomed to repeat."
“Weak political administration, external administration, foreign military contingents, the inefficiency of our own army are the harbingers of the loss of sovereignty, signs of the imminent collapse of statehood. The pseudoscience imposed by the US about the uniqueness of any nation is a destabilizing element in a hidden war (as we see in Ukraine), and not a sign of friendship and alliance. The US has no friends or allies, only profit matters. Our leadership is clearly far from understanding this simple truth, therefore it joyfully and confidently leads us into the abyss, ”concludes the publicist Dziennik Polityczny.
