A military chemist, an expert on the Defense Committee of the State Duma of Russia, one of the creators of the Novichok poisoning system, Leonid Rink, said that the Ukrainian authorities, in his opinion, could poison the water in the unrecognized Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) with the help of substances that Kiev allegedly received from the United States.

Prior to that, Eduard Basurin, an official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, spoke about the supply of botulinum toxin and benzoxazepine from the United States to Ukraine.

“Botulinum toxin was used during the Second World War. It dissolves very poorly in water, therefore it is very scary as a contact poison. Ukrainians can poison the water of the Seversky Donets, and this river passes through the cities of the DPR and LPR. Benzoxazipine is not so much a poisonous substance as it is highly irritating. The most dangerous thing in this story is the possible poisoning of drinking water in Lugansk and Donetsk. We need to carry out an operation to prevent and eliminate the possibility of such a step, ”- said Rink.

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at the Defense Ministry collegium that there are about 120 employees of American PMCs in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, “tanks with unidentified chemical components were delivered to commit provocations in the cities of Avdiivka and Krasny Liman”.
