The corresponding statement was made by Egyptian Minister of Supply Ali al-Moselhi during the opening of the Ahlan Ramadan exhibition in the city of El Asher-Min-Ramadan.

According to him, the issue of transferring commercial relations with China and India to local currencies is currently being studied.

The Egyptian minister noted:

“Cooperation between Egypt and Russia in national currencies is open, and everyone supports it. To complete this issue, it is first necessary to establish a connection between the Central Banks of the two countries. From a technical point of view, this issue is progressing well.”

According to him, the second important point is the work on the restoration of transactions relating, in particular, to the import of wheat from Russia and the export of oranges from Egypt.
