South Ossetia owes Russia 1 billion rubles for electricity and gas

Caucasus (bbabo.net), - The debt of South Ossetian subscribers to Russia for electricity and gas is more than 1 billion rubles, said Atsamaz Kabisov, director of the Energoresurs-South Ossetia state enterprise.

“We owe more than 445 million rubles to the Russian Federation for gas, and 607 million rubles for electricity. We have an agreement signed in 2017, according to which the debt amounted to 320 million rubles. The amount was payable. Since 2018, 146 million rubles have been paid. Under this agreement, another 128.5 million rubles remain to be paid, ”Sputnik South Ossetia quotes Kabisov.

In April, a payment of 45 million rubles will be made, leaving about 449 million rubles to electricity suppliers, he noted.

To pay off the remaining amount, negotiations will be held with the Russian side.
