“Eliminating the consequences of the pogroms at Makhachkala airport cost approximately 20 million rubles. All infrastructure has been restored, and critical infrastructure was restored the very next day after the pogroms before noon,” Ramazanov said.

Compensation has not yet been recovered from those who organized the riots due to the fact that the investigation into the detainees and suspects continues, Interfax quotes Ramazanov as saying.

In addition, 242 administrative cases were initiated (104 people were arrested for 10 days, fines from 3 to 10 thousand were imposed on 94, 42 were sentenced to forced labor, cases against two were terminated).
