“We have already spoken today about the school renovation program. This will be done at an outstripping pace in the countryside - I asked about it, and this will be ensured,” the head of state said.

Putin also added that the social development of Russian villages is proceeding in accordance with the existing federal program.

"All projects are oriented so as to work at a faster pace in the countryside. The village demonstrates good performance, and this should be reflected in the social well-being of people who provide the level of production of basic foodstuffs," the president explained.

Also, according to the president, in addition to basic things, villagers must be able to use the modern services that the Internet provides.

“The Internet is needed so that people can use services even in the most remote settlements. And we have provided additional funds for this,” the head of state emphasized.
