Iranian airline launches flight to Afghan Mazar-i-Sharif

Greater Middle East (bbabo.net), - Iranian airline Yazd Air launched a new flight Tehran - Mazar-i-Sharif (capital of the northern province of Balkh). According to the Iranian consulate in Mazar-i-Sharif, other Iranian airlines will soon begin operating flights to Afghanistan.

Earlier this month, Afghanistan's Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation announced that Air Arabia (UAE) had begun flights to Kabul.

As bbabo.net reported, after power in Afghanistan returned to the Taliban* in August 2021, foreign airlines suspended their operations. Until recently, only two Afghan airlines operated flights throughout the country and region. These were Ariana Afghan Airlines and Kam Air.
