Peskov: Russia considers NATO exercises a threat and is taking measures

The head of the Ministry of Defense of Finland, Antti Häkkänen, noted that 4.1 thousand Finnish soldiers will take part in the exercises, about half of whom are reservists. He emphasized that Finland's participation in NATO peacetime missions and the expansion of alliance exercises into the country demonstrate how Finland's NATO membership manifests itself in practice.

It is noted that in Scandinavia, Nordic Response 24, which will take place from March 4 to 15, will become “the most significant international exercise.” They are also part of another large-scale exercise, Steadfast Defender 24. In total, about 20 thousand soldiers from 14 countries will take part in the Nordic Response 24 exercise.
