Belarus (bbabo.net), - Russia shares the priorities declared by Armenia for the year of its chairmanship in the Eurasian Economic Union. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced this today, February 2, at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty.
“Since January, the chairmanship functions in the union bodies have passed to Armenia. I wish my Armenian colleagues success. We have carefully studied the priorities for further development of integration proposed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. They largely coincide with the position of the Russian side. We are ready to provide full support for their implementation,” Mishustin noted.
Let us remind you that from January 1, 2024, Armenia assumed the chairmanship of the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union. Throughout the year, the republic will chair the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Nikol Pashinyan addressed the heads of the EAEU member states on January 16 on the occasion of Armenia’s chairmanship in the union’s bodies and outlined the main priorities.
