Asia (bbabo.net), - Uzbekistan is interested in concluding an agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union on the exchange of information to speed up the movement of goods. Prime Minister of the Republic Abdulla Aripov stated this during his speech at the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the EAEU in Almaty, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports.
“In order to create conditions for the accelerated movement of goods across our customs borders, we propose to develop an agreement between Uzbekistan and the EAEU on the electronic exchange of information on goods and vehicles of international transport,” he said.
Earlier, Aripov proposed starting to formulate a new program document for the next period, providing for the expansion of Uzbekistan’s practical participation in multilateral programs and projects of the EAEU, noting that the republic intends to expand its participation in them.
The meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the EAEU is taking place at this moment in Almaty.
