As bbabo.net reported, a year after the tragedy on the set of the film Rust, actor Alec Baldwin was re-charged with manslaughter of cameraman Galina Hutchins. The tragedy occurred on October 21, 2021, when shooting from a pistol that should have been loaded with blank cartridges.
The film's director was wounded in the collarbone, and 42-year-old camerawoman Galina Hutchins was seriously injured and airlifted to an Albuquerque hospital. Doctors were unable to save her life.
The case has already been heard in court, and all charges against the actor were dropped. However, in mid-January, a grand jury in New Mexico decided to re-indict Baldwin. Also charged with manslaughter and tampering with evidence was the film's weapons consultant, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. Hearings are scheduled for February this year.
Now Baldwin again pleads not guilty on all counts.
