Caucasus (bbabo.net), - The Armed Forces of Armenia fired at the positions of the troops of the State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan in the direction of the village of Kollugishlak, Zangilan region, as a result, a soldier with the rank of private Parviz Khalilzade was wounded.
The Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan disseminated information about this today, February 12. The incident occurred at approximately 13.37 local time (12.37 Moscow time) on a section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border in the Zangilan region.
The shelling was carried out from the positions of the Armenian Armed Forces located in the direction of the village of Nerkin Hand in the Syunik region.
The wounded serviceman was evacuated by helicopter to a specialized medical facility.
It is noted that the incident, including the moment of shelling from the Armenian side, was recorded by video surveillance cameras.
The operational situation is currently stable and controlled by Azerbaijani units. It is also stated that “responsibility for the provocation lies with the military-political leadership of Armenia.”
The Armenian Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on this information disseminated by the Azerbaijani side.
