Yesterday, a group of the Duma's lawmakers representing all political groups suggested several amendments to the "Law about Police". The draft guarantees the "presumption of confidence" to the police on the hand of state.

The Act also introduces the rule that a police officer "shall not be prosecuted" for any action undertaken while performing his/her duties, if those are kept within established procedures.
