In Slovakia, pensioners will be paid 200-300 euros for a full vaccination

The first 500 thousand Slovak citizens aged 60 and over will be able to receive cash rewards if they receive a full coronavirus vaccination between Christmas and New Year's holidays. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Igor Matovich.

Earlier, the country's authorities adopted a law according to which senior citizens who have already received three vaccinations against coronavirus will receive 300 euros from the state. Those who received two doses of the vaccine will be rewarded with 200 euros, but if they receive the third vaccination, they will receive another 100 euros each, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Matovich, in general, the Ministry of Finance allocated about 270 million euros for these purposes. The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that this is "one of the most effective investments in the fight against coronavirus."
