The number of Russians who have the right to vote in Belarus has become known

Belarus (bbabo.net), - 95 thousand Russians will be able to vote in the elections in Belarus. Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the republic Igor Karpenko announced this today, February 20.

He also noted that 21 Russians are running for local councils, of which 15 are going to district councils. In total, 6 million 913 thousand people are registered in the voter lists in Belarus.

“Everything is going as normal. We checked the readiness of all sites,” emphasized the head of the Belarusian Central Election Commission.

Karpenko also recalled that early voting has begun in the country. Also in Minsk, a republican public center for monitoring elections began operating. In total, 45,505 national observers are registered in Belarus and 246 international observers are accredited, including from Western countries.

Let us remind you that on February 25, a single voting day will be held in Belarus, on which deputies of parliament and local councils will be elected. There are 265 candidates vying for 110 parliamentary seats in the House of Representatives. 18,802 people are registered as candidates for local councils, and they are vying for more than 12 thousand seats.
