The US and NATO are ready for a dialogue with Russia on security guarantees and proposals from the Russian side. This was stated by the US Ambassador to Moscow John Sullivan.

According to him, Washington, as well as its NATO allies and partners, "are ready to interact with the Russian authorities and discuss the problems they have voiced," the Kommersant newspaper reports. Sullivan added that US partners in Europe are also looking forward to these talks.

Earlier, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki also confirmed the US readiness to hold talks with Russia on security, noting that their details have not yet been determined. "At the moment, there is no final agreement on the place and time," she said. According to Psaki, Washington is ready to agree with some of Moscow's proposals, but at the same time, it strongly disagrees with others.
