“We will not ignore our principles and our close relations with Ukraine just because we have extensive relations with Russia,” the Turkish Foreign Minister said during an online meeting with the Academy of International Security.

According to Cavusoglu, in many difficult situations like this, Turkey is doing what the spirit of the times and the country's national security require.

“This is hard work, but diplomacy is needed for this,” the minister stressed.

Earlier, the Haberturk edition reported that Turkey, presumably, will take part in the NATO anti-Russian military operation in the territory of Donbass.
