USA (bbabo.net), - The White House has informed House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer that President Joe Biden will not testify in the impeachment inquiry at the committee hearing, CNN reports.

“Your impeachment investigation has concluded. We decline your invitation to President Biden to testify,” the TV channel quotes a letter from Special Adviser to the President Richard Sauber.

According to him, Biden “did nothing wrong.” Sauber also accused Comer of spreading “false and unsupported allegations.”

In late March, US House Republicans invited Biden to testify about his family's business dealings before the Oversight Committee on April 16.

Republicans have been conducting an impeachment investigation for months, which has largely focused on the business dealings of members of the Biden family and are trying to find a clear connection between Joe Biden's actions as vice president and his son Hunter.
