Asia (bbabo.net), - The new Indian Ambassador to Moscow Vinay Kumar, after presenting copies of his credentials at the Russian Foreign Ministry, paid a courtesy visit to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov; during the meeting, upcoming high-level bilateral visits were discussed. The Indian Embassy in Moscow reported this.

“Ambassador Vinay Kumar paid a courtesy visit to the [Russian] Foreign Minister His Excellency Mr. Sergei Lavrov,” the embassy said in a post on social media X, TASS reported.

“They discussed current regional and global issues and upcoming high-level bilateral visits, which will further strengthen the Russian-Indian especially privileged strategic partnership,” the Indian diplomatic mission noted.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Kumar presented copies of his credentials to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko. The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the parties discussed the schedule of upcoming foreign policy contacts.
