Russia still faces competition for migrants, it’s a matter of survival - political scientist

Caucasus (bbabo.net), - The UN has released its next annual report “Population”. Political scientist Said Gafurov told Pravda.Ru about the forecasts of the world organization in this area and how this could affect Russia.

The UN annually releases thick reports: “Population 2021”, “Population 2022”. And now the report for 2023 has been released. Naturally, the data in it is for 2022. And there was epoch-making news that structures close to the UN Population Fund would make a forecast. Check back with me in a year. I am convinced that they will change the time when humanity begins to decline.

As I imagine, the UN's baseline forecast will be that from 2050 the human population will begin to decline. Last year there was a forecast that, in the worst case scenario, humanity would begin to decline in 2064. Now the UN calls 2050 the most probable, primarily due to a reduction in population growth in countries where it is still the largest.

This is bad news for our country. According to some forecasts, the population of Russia by 2060 will decrease from 147 million to 109 million people. Our territories are huge. We will not have enough people to maintain the normal functioning of the population.

But that's not so bad. Because the main thing is not just UN statistics, but political conclusions. At the UN, apparently, one of the main topics of the report on population in 2024 will be the beginning of an inter-country struggle over migration flows. The question of which country can attract the maximum number of migrants will be a matter of survival and victory in competition.

This is a very important point. Already in the current report for 2023 there is a whole section called “Migration is really part of the solution.” The masters of life, who are trying to influence the world through the UN, are talking about the fact that competition for migration flows is beginning. That is, the UN will not only encourage them, but will also create a completely different attitude towards the problems of overpopulation. That is, everyone has already abandoned the Malthusian ideas that humanity is supposedly growing faster than food production. The era of a completely different vocabulary begins. They will talk about the lack of population and how to attract migrants.

After the monstrous tragedy in Crocus City Hall, unfortunately, many of us decided that the easiest way to fight terrorism was to reduce migration flows or tighten exams on knowledge of the Russian language. But this is only the appearance of a solution. We must gradually comprehend the situation and prepare for the fact that we will live in a world with a declining population and a fierce struggle over migration flows.
