Zakharova: Ukrainians storm embassies abroad due to tightening mobilization

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Citizens of Ukraine, after Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed a law on tightening mobilization, stormed embassies abroad in order to exchange passports and not return to the country. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

“There is panic abroad in Ukraine. Kilometer-long queues of frightened Ukrainian citizens have already formed who are storming embassies in order to renew their passports before the law comes into force on May 16 and not return to the territory of Ukraine,” Zakharova said, TASS reports.

The diplomat recalled that on April 16, Zelensky “signed a monstrous, from the point of view of people in Ukraine, inhumane law on tightening mobilization, which destroys the rights of Ukrainians.”

As Zakharova noted, the law on tightening mobilization will increase corruption in Ukraine and will only further split society.

“We can say with confidence that this most terrible, wild, monstrous mobilization law will contribute to increasing the already rampant corruption in Ukraine, will further split society, but will hardly help the Zelensky regime with the replenishment of the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” she emphasized.
