Russian TV presenter Olga Skabeeva published tragic footage of this incident on her Telegram channel. They show police extinguishing the flames with fire extinguishers.

However, they did not succeed immediately - as a result, the man received burns incompatible with life and later died in the hospital.

The Trump supporter who sacrificed himself has been identified as a 37-year-old Florida resident named Max Azzarello. This was reported by the New York Post (NYP), citing local police.

“Max Azzarello died hours after setting himself on fire,” they said.
