- I am very glad that I skated two programs cleanly. Thank you very much to my coaches who put up with me in training, - said Valieva on the air of Channel One. - I tried to give all my best, and it gave a result.

In the Chechen Republic, Valieva surpassed three world records that belong to her and were set at the Grand Prix in Sochi. The marks obtained at the national championships are not counted by the International Skating Union (ISU), but they are still impressive. Camila received 90.38 points for the short program (her official record is 87.42), 193.10 points for the free program (record - 185.29) and 283.48 points in total (record - 272.71).

Now the athlete will have time to rest before the January European Championships and the Olympic Games. Valieva, like the runner-up Alexandra Trusova, guaranteed themselves a place in the national team for the main starts of the season.

- I am very glad that the competition is over, that the Russian championship is over. We will now wait for the New Year, so that after it we will go to the competitions with renewed vigor, ”Kamila said.
