“The modernization consists in the installation of new equipment for communication, navigation and control of the weapons complex. At the same time, during the repairs on this aircraft, many units, pumps, fuel, in the hydraulic system, landing gear, there are brakes, brake pads, propeller blades are being replaced, ”he said.
The specialist emphasized that in total, from 4 to 5 thousand components were used for replacement, while not the deepest modernization was carried out.
Answering the question about the missile launch accuracy, Mitin gave a very short but comprehensive answer.
