The head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, said that the position of the republic, when the law on power in the regions was adopted, was not fully taken into account. TASS reports.

According to him, the speech, among other things, is about the situation with the ban on the use of the word "president" in the title of the position of the head of the region.

“It is clear that the law has been passed, and we are law-abiding people. But it so happened that our voice was not heard in some issues, ”Minnikhanov said during a press conference.

He stressed that the relevant law has already been adopted, the position of the Tatarstan parliament was known earlier.

In that case, if during the development of the bill one of the authors of the document came, the position of the Tatarstan parliament could be different, Minnikhanov admitted.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the organization of power in the regions. The law will enter into force on June 1, 2022, with the exception of certain provisions.

Also in the EP stated that the law on public authority will increase responsibility at all levels.
