Russia has offered India to develop a new main battle tank based on the universal Armata platform. Valeria Reshetnikova, press secretary of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia, announced this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"The Indian partners were offered new areas of work, including the creation of armored vehicles based on the Armata platform, according to the customer's specifications, especially considering that the Indian military plans to launch work on the creation of a new main battle tank," she said.
