In Crimea, schoolchildren await vacations in Islamic traditions

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - In Crimea, schoolchildren have come up with an alternative to useless pastime during the winter holidays. A Muslim camp "Winter shift" for boys and girls aged 9-13 is being organized at the Women's Resource Center in Simferopol.

For three days, teenagers will completely immerse themselves in a religious environment, perform joint worship, study namaz, dua (prayers), dhikr and read the Koran. Religious teachers Aishe Duran, Khatije Mustafayeva and Edie Muslyadinova will acquaint camp participants with Islamic traditions and interesting stories from the life of the prophets and Sahaba.

As told IA bbabo.net master of theology, Arabic language and literature, teacher of the Azov madrasah. Imam Maturidi Aishe Duran, the task of the camp is to create a spiritual Muslim environment for children.

“Our goal is to immerse children in a Muslim moral and cultural atmosphere so that they can recharge spiritually and receive a resource that will warm their hearts throughout their future lives. Yes, practicing religion at home is right and necessary. But it is important for children that they see fellow observant peers. When teenagers are in a team of like-minded people, they reveal their new sides, show activity and compete in a good way, ”Aishe Duran shared.

During the winter shift of the camp, students will also find reading books, games, quests and other surprises.

The camp, which will take place from January 6 to 8 from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Women's Resource Center, is ready to host up to 20 people. The organizers invite parents to present their children with spiritual fulfillment and happy memories.
