Pecherskyi District Court has arrested two houses of Alexei Azarov in town Olbia in Italy and the bank account of the company "Agosto 2012 srl".
This is stated in the court resolution of 28 July, writes "Our Money" agency.
Pre-trial investigation against the fugitive son of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov was held on suspicion of his illicit enrichment.
It found out that in 2012-2014., Alexei Azarov, as a MP, received large sums of money from the unidentified sources: 7.70 million euros, 600 thousand CHF, 500 thousand dollars. Then, these funds were placed in banks in Switzerland, Italy and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
At the same time Alexei Azarov concealed his true income in 2012-2014. He declared significantly lower revenues in the amount of 19 650 thousand UAH.
The court ordered to arrest of two houses, located on the territory of the Italian Republic in town Olbia (Sardinia), the area of the Marinella Gulf. This property has been acquired by "Agosto 2012 s.r.l.", linked with Azarov. One house was purchased on December 17, 2012, and the other – on September 7, 2013.
It is known that the Italian police arrested these assets last fall.
