To date, 1,399 military personnel who test positive for coronavirus are under medical supervision. 697 patients with new coronavirus infection are in military hospitals. 14 military personnel are treated by civilian doctors. Another 688 people are isolated at home.
It is reported that the vast majority of the disease is asymptomatic. However, two servicemen are in serious condition. In four more people infected with the coronavirus, doctors diagnosed the average severity of the disease.
As of today, 13 people with coronavirus have been identified among military personnel, cadets and students of universities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In civilian personnel of the Armed Forces, a dangerous infection was found in 179 employees.
The department noted that in 18 multidisciplinary medical centers of the Russian Ministry of Defense, a little more than a thousand people are now being treated, 184 of whom are civilians. "Patients receive all types of specialized care, from diagnostics to surgical treatment for the widest range of pathologies, including those affected by coronavirus infection," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The bulletin says that since the start of operation of the multidisciplinary centers erected by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 16 regions of the country, more than 30.5 thousand patients have provided medical care there, over 11.7 thousand of whom are civilians. "All of them received the necessary treatment in inpatient conditions of medical centers, recovered and were discharged," the ministry said.
To date, 485,254 people have undergone scheduled revaccinations in the Armed Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
