The meeting of the NATO-Russia Council, which is due to take place in Brussels on January 12, will begin at 10 am local time (12:00 Moscow time) and is expected to last about three hours. This is stated in the corresponding statement of the alliance.

"After the talks, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will speak to the media as chairman of the Russia-NATO Council. The meeting of the Council will begin at 10:00. At about 13:30 (15:30 Moscow time -) - NATO Secretary General's press conference," NATO said.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed that he had convened a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council for 12 January. It is expected that the agenda will include issues related to European security, in particular - with Ukraine.
