The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is preparing to start the work of five NATO trust funds in Ukraine with a total sum of $ 5.4 million euro.

This was said by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Victoria Kushnir, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

According to her, through the Alliance's trust funds will help armed forces of Ukraine in the following areas: modernization of communication systems and automation (2 million euro), the reform of logistics systems and standardization of the APU (1 million euro), physical rehabilitation and prosthetics soldiers wounded in ATO (845 thousand euro), cyber defense (815 thousand euro), as well as retraining and resettlement (410 thousand euro).

"The use of funds for each project are being agreed at the headquarters of the Alliance", - said Kushnir.

Speaker of the Ministry of Defense also said that on the basis of NATO standards the department have already processed and implemented 62 regulatory documents.
