Bilateral meeting between Poroshenko and Putin during the UN General Assembly is not obvious

Possibility of the bilateral meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and Russia on the sidelines of the 70th UN General Assembly session is still open.

This was announced in an interview with Ukrinform by Ukraine's permanent representative in the UN, Yuriy Sergeyev, reports Censor.NET.

"All bilateral meetings are planned in the capitals, and we, at our level in the Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations, only coordinate these issues. Now, obviously, talks are held between the capitals", - the diplomat said.

He also noted that while there is no evidence, if the leaders of "Norman Quartet" are going to meet during the UN General Assembly in New York. "These issues are in the competence of the capitals," - said Sergeyev.

It has to be recalled that jubilee 70th session of the UN General Assembly officially starts 15 September. It is expected that it will be attended by the leaders of more than 100 countries.
