Phlebologist, surgeon, oncologist, specialist in bariatric medicine (surgical weight loss) Alexander Khitaryan told Rossiyskaya Gazeta how to quickly and fully recover after the holidays.

Rule # 1 is the right start to the day. In the morning, you need a light breakfast with fiber (for example, fruits, nuts).

Rule # 2 - we stop negative processes.

To do this, start and end the day with 1 teaspoon of honey (if there are no allergies or contraindications). We eat honey in the morning after a glass of water, after 20-30 minutes. This will give a bactericidal effect, as well as prevent fermentation processes from New Year's dishes and complex food combinations.

And before bed - one more teaspoon an hour before bed, without drinks and food.

Rule # 3 - we select a combination of products. Since you've mixed enough for the holidays, now is the time to get your gastrointestinal tract back to normal.

For this, it is very important to combine the products correctly. There are many rules and secrets, all of them based on knowledge of physiology and reflexes of the digestive system. But let's start simple - choose dishes from one category. If the salad is meat, then there should be meat for hot, not fish, that is, do not mix different types of protein at the same time.

Rule # 4 - alkalinization. Overeating provokes increased production of enzymes, which in turn leads to "acidification" of the body.

Excess acids accumulate in the liver, harm the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) and lead to many unpleasant consequences - heartburn, pain in the stomach.

The most effective alkalizing product is greens (parsley, dill, spinach, arugula, all kinds of salads, etc.). After a meal, carefully monitor its presence in the diet and add to each meal with protein products. A daily portion of greens should be at least 20 grams.
