Media: In Almaty, armed people attacked medical facilities

Armed men surrounded two large multidisciplinary hospitals in Alma-Ata, numbered 1 and 7, and did not admit patients. They demanded to provide urgent assistance to the wounded, whom they had brought with them. The intensive care unit was fired upon to intimidate. By a happy coincidence, no one was hurt, according to the Telegram channel "Sputnik Kazakhstan".

The hospital staff alerted law enforcement agencies about the incident. The emergency rooms are currently closed and doctors are slated to be able to attend to new patients on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, law enforcement forces detained 139 people in the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan. They found 14 Kalashnikov assault rifles, a sniper rifle, pistols, cartridges and grenades. The detainees had large sums of money with them, including in dollars and Kyrgyz soms.

At the expense of these funds, they planned to attract unorganized youth to criminal actions. Alcohol and drugs were distributed to those who agreed to take part in them, "Sputnik Kazakhstan" informs.
