Russia (bbabo.net), - By the beginning of the new academic year-2022, the Center for the identification, support and development of the abilities, talents of children and youth in the Trans-Baikal Territory will open. Its formation was announced by the board of trustees of the project, whose meeting was held in the regional government.

“The regional center is being created taking into account the experience of the Sirius educational center, where talented children and teachers come from all over the country for further education and development,” said Tatyana Tsympilova, Deputy Prime Minister of Transbaikalia.

The institution will work in the areas of sports, science, art. Educational programs involve short-term profile shifts for students in grades 5-8 in distance and full-time formats, modular programs for students in grades 9-11 in Olympiad subjects, systematic distance learning and once a month a full-time module with a top speaker.

- We are preparing the necessary infrastructure for this on the basis of one of the educational institutions of Chita. The center will include a children's campus, bedrooms, creative coworking spaces, classrooms and laboratories, a children's media center, a recording studio, a dining room, added Tatiana Tsympilova.

According to the press service of the government of the Trans-Baikal Territory, it is planned to allocate more than 220 million rubles from the federal budget for these purposes, and 4.5 million from the regional treasury.
