Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Kazakhstan's state channels have shown a "terrorist" detained after the recent pogroms in the city of Almaty. The audience identified the arrested person as a well-known Kyrgyz jazz musician Vikram Ruzakhunov in Kyrgyzstan and in the cultural capital of Kazakhstan.

In the frame, a young man says that on the first day, strangers called him and offered 90 thousand tenge (about $ 200) for participation in the rally. Since he is "unemployed", he agreed, and they bought him a ticket to Almaty on the second day. In the apartment where he was brought, there were allegedly also citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Kyrgyz media, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, reported that Ruzakhunov was invited to Almaty to hold concerts on New Year's Eve. A representative of the special services of Kyrgyzstan has firmly denied information about the jazz musician's penchant for terrorism and believes that he was detained "by mistake" or because of "a desire to curry favor." The musician's relatives say that the "confession" was given under torture.
