Russia - Residents of Transbaikalia will be allowed into the shopping center only with a QR code

Russia (bbabo.net), - Since January 10, employees of shopping centers in Transbaikalia have again started checking QR codes of visitors at the entrance. Previously, it was possible to get into the shopping center freely; customers presented a document on vaccination against coronavirus during the checkout at the cash desks of retail outlets.

"Today, the trade sector in the region begins to function in a new way. Now, at the entrance to a shopping or entertainment center, a person must present a QR code on vaccination, otherwise he will not be able to enter the premises," - commented on the decision of the authorities by the deputy chairman of the regional government, Minister of Economic Development Alexander Bardaleev.

He added that now QR codes will be required from visitors to non-food stores. There it will be scanned by the cashier when paying for the purchase.

Without a QR code, residents can still visit grocery stores and pharmacies, but only with the exception of those located on the territory of shopping centers.

Recall that the system of QR codes for catering establishments and cinemas was launched in Transbaikalia on October 25, and on November 8, shopping centers were also connected to it. At first, the employees of the shopping center checked the certificates at the entrances to the buildings, and then the authorities ordered the sellers and cashiers of outlets to do this, which caused discontent among local entrepreneurs.
