This was announced on his Twitter page by Mikhail Ulyanov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna.

According to him, the most popular words in the Western vocabulary are "consequences" and "they will pay for it." Ulyanov reminded his Western colleagues of the existence of the rule: if the same threat is repeated "1001 times", then it "depreciates."

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov assessed the Russian-American talks on security guarantees. They were difficult, the sides did not try to avoid sharp corners, the diplomat noted. According to him, the United States has very seriously approached Russia's proposals on security guarantees, carried out their in-depth study. At least Ryabkov himself had such an impression.
