A French television channel drew a storm of condemnation after showing a "documentary" about the country's Muslim community, which turned out to be outright Islamophobic propaganda.

The film entitled "Face to face the threat of radical Islam - the answer of the state" was shown on the French channel M6, informs bbabo.net with reference to TRT World.

The plot of the picture was a young French Muslim woman, Lilia Buzian, who was involved in the filming of the film, promising her a beautiful story about the life of Muslims in France.

Subsequently, a student from Lyon realized that she had been subjected to severe manipulation - she was asked leading questions, and then phrases were taken out of context in order to reinforce the thesis about the "threat of Islam."

When she saw the film on TV, the girl was shocked - she expected something completely different from the plot, in which she agreed to act out of good intentions. The whole movie was about presenting Muslims and their religion as a direct threat to French secularism and the values ​​of the republic.

“As a Muslim and a Frenchwoman, I do not intend to be silent, I will not leave it like that. I was framed, I was manipulated by journalists,” said Lilia.
